Naturist Foundation

More about Naturism

Set in 50 acres of parkland in Greater London, the Naturist Foundation is a registered charity.

British Naturism is a national body that seeks to unite naturists and promote naturism and naturist values. There are hundreds of naturist clubs and societies around Britain.  The link on the left is to the Central Council for British Naturism and contains details about clubs and beaches all around the country.

Since becoming naturists in 1994, we have been contributors of the Naturist Foundation.  There are 50 acres of parkland available to naturists with a heated outdoor pool, woodland walks and a number of games courts for "miniten" (a special naturist version of tennis played with wooden "thugs") badminton and petanque.  There is also a children's playground and a pleasingly priced bar well stocked with real ale.

A number of people have seasonal caravans or tents on the site and most weekends there is some form of entertainment in the pavilion.  The most common event is a social  of some kind, often fancy dress, sometimes with live bands, and shows put on by contributors.

Over the last couple of years, I have been putting on a Jazz 'n' Blues night on the second Friday of every month except August.  During the last two weeks of August is "Billy's" Weeks.  Two whole weeks of fun, games and entertainment that would be the envy of any holiday camp.
