Ian Robinson


Ian Robinson lives in South West London, where he founded Oasis Books and Oasis Magazine in 1969 and where he continues to run both today, as well as writing, painting and playing tennis. He has been a boxer and track athlete, factory worker, a linguist in the Royal Air Force, actor, theatrical director, schoolmaster and a journalist in Fleet Street. For a long time he taught art, history, literature and creative writing at Kingston Polytechnic. His graphic work and paintings have been shown in a number of London exhibitions.
