Mary Johnston

Born in Malaysia, Mary Johnston went to school in Nigeria and Helensburgh, Scotland, before receiving a BA from Edinburgh University. She has been exhibited widely and loves experimenting with all sorts of media, colour and form. Her paintings give a sense of realism tinged with the surreal, exploiting bold colour in abstractions from the world around her. Based in the West Fife village of Crossford, she also works extensively with community groups.
