    Carno Farm Information

    		Carno Farm is a group of delightfully renovated and restored early 17th century barns and farmhouse cottage grouped around a very attractive courtyard.


    Carno Farmhouse, Ty Carno and Carno Bach barns are elegantly furnished to a high standard of comfort and decor skillfully blending a mixture of antique and reproduction furniture. Each property sleeps 4 adults plus cot/childbed and has a full range of facilities and equipment that includes: 2 bedrooms (double bed/twin beds), 2 bathrooms (one of which includes a shower fitting), washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, CTV/video, CD music centre, classical music collection, books, games, garden furniture, small patio and BBQ. Full oil fired central heating and electricity is included. All linen is provided. Cot, highchair, baby listener and playpen are also available.


    		The property nestles under the west side of Pen y Fan set in five acres of farmland in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park 5 miles south of Brecon.




    No photograph can capture the 360° panorama of mountains and hills that surround this small holding with direct access into the Park.



    Carno is for people wanting to "get away from it all" and relax. It balances accessibility with peace and offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. Ideal walking, bird watching - including the Red Kite - and cycling country. Golf, fishing, pony trekking, climbing, canoeing and sailing are close by.
    Castles and areas of historic interest, the coast and Mid Wales are all within easy reach. Well behaved pets welcome.
    		Guests may use the in-door heated swimming pool and jacuzzi and, toddlers play area.

    		Carno farmhouse living room features oak beams, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove (logs provided), revealed stone spiral staircase, converted oil lamps and dining area.


    There is a fully fitted kitchen that includes pine table, chairs and dresser, utility room and an enclosed garden.

    Ty Carno & Carno Bach

    Ty Carno Barn and Carno Bach can accommodate 2 to 8 adults by renting one or both units together. Each unit has an oak-beamed sitting room with 'real flame' stove, fully fitted oak kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

    The living room has oak beam and stone fireplace with a 'real flame' stive, dining table and chairs, a fully fitted pine kitchen with small breakfast bar. In addition Ty Carno is suitable for disabled persons as it has ground floor access for wheelchairs, electronic controlled easy chair, bed and bath.

    Carno Bach, when rented separately, offers two bedrooms with en-suite showers, w.c. and basins. The sitting room and kitchen/diner are on the ground floor. Thegardens are at the rear of the property. This unit is also wheelchair accessible.

    3 Day Breaks from £190 to £220

    Use of Swimming Pool
     Swimming: £3.50 per adult per sesson or £18.00 per week
    Children under 11: £2.50 per sesson or £16.00 per week
