Assemble the box as shown below using nails or screws. PVA wood glue for exterior use is not toxic to bats and can help improve the longevity and weather resistance.

 

Attach the sides to the back.

 

Fit the front and base.

 

Attach the battens to the top and bottom of the back.

 

 

To allow the roof to fit tightly up against the back, the back edge of the roof must be bevelled at an angle of 68.2^o.
