Sybil - rough-haired bitch, born July 1994 Sybil sitting, 17KB
is our original Jack Russell bitch obtained from Mrs Gloria Ayub at Shabana Arabians from the mating of her rough-haired dog, Russell, and her smooth-haired bitch, Poppy.
Sybil is named after the character of the same name in the television comedy series, Fawlty Towers.
She has turned out to be a real character and regularly charms visitors with her ability to sit upright whilst still wagging her tail. A natural ratter, she loves to nose around amongst the straw and hay bales in the stable area.

1st litter, born 7th Aug 1997, by Ted Harris' dog, Bryn.
Butch, smooth-haired dog. Named Butch because of his relatively large size at birth,
and that name was retained by his new owners in Denmead.
Basil, broken-coated dog. Originally named to continue the Fawlty Towers theme.
Renamed Rusty by new owner at Boarhunt.
Tragically died when hit by a Post Office delivery van.

Renamed Mutley by new owner at Sandhurst.

Polly, rough-haired bitch. Named Polly after the maid in Fawlty Towers.
Retained by us and produced her first litter in May 2001.
Jeeves, smooth-haired dog. Originally named because he looked as if he was wearing a long black butler's coat. Renamed Basil by new owner at Waterlooville.
Manuel, rough-haired dog. Originally named Manuel because black hair either side of his mouth gave him the appearance of a 'Mexican bandit'.
Major, smooth-haired dog. Originally named after yet another character from Fawlty Towers. Renamed Tonto by new owner at Hamble.
Whisky, broken-coated dog Renamed Sunny by new owner in Denmead
who had previously bought Butch from the first litter.
