EVIL DEAD 2 : DEAD BY DAWN - MOMENTUM UK
Help me! I'm trapped in a matte painting.

PICTURE:

The first U.K. version of the movie, presented in it's original widescreen.
Taken from the same film master as previous VHS versions and BMG'S "DVD" which unlike the U.S. versions is a very dark transfer.
The picture is OK with slight grain, but some of the more darkly lit
shots in the film are hard to see and details are lost. It is the best
version available to the U.K. at the moment. ( Unless Anchor Bay
can get the rights to it for the U.K. and do another special edition.)

SOUND:

The 5.1 remix is great, it enhances the ED2 experience greatly.
There are many scenes that have been crying out for a sound mix
like this, and it delivers, dialogue is sharp and the sound
effects are just like you imagined all those years ago when watching
it on video, but better.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Brilliant commentary track by the four guys, extremely funny and
informative for evil dead enthusiasts ( taken from the Elite laserdisc.)
As is the excellent Making of "documentary" which has lots of great
special effects features, including unused /early test make-ups and FX sequences, plus Sam, Bruce and the crew fooling around for the camera.
