Professor Raymond Knowby, archeologist, husband to Henrietta and father of Annie.
Prof Knowby made the original translations from the Book of the Dead.
After reciting the passages, his wife became possessed and tried to kill him.
Knowby "killed" Henrietta, but could not dismember her corpse, so he
buried her in the fruit cellar. It is not known how the professor died exactly,
but he comes back as a spirit to help his daughter Annie fight the evil by telling
her to recite certain passages from the newly discovered pages from the book.
