27 OCTOBER 2003: The Evil Dead came 12th in Channel Four's "The 100 Greatest Scary Moments from film, TV, advertising and pop." (U.K).
It had a short Interview with Bruce talking about the movie and the scene with the pencil.

If any one is doing anything Evil Dead related for Halloween, send in pics (even if it it just an Evil Dead pumpkin!) and we will post them on here.

I will not be doing a review of the Evil dead DVD box set, ( as mentioned below) I will now be focusing on the
U.K exclusive special features with descriptions and stills so anyone who can not play or get the set out side
the U.K. can see what they are missing. Plus the review of the awesome FLESHROT music CD.

29 JULY 2003: Drunk Driver Hits Bruce Campbell.

Yahoo! writes, "RUCH, Ore. - Bruce Campbell (news), an actor whose credits include "Evil Dead," "Hercules," "Xena, Warrior Princess" and "Spider-Man" suffered minor injuries in a weekend accident. Campbell, 45, of Jacksonville, was driving late Saturday when his car was struck by a Jeep driven by 36-year-old Steven Michael Sellers of Medford. Sellars, who was ejected from his vehicle and struck the windshield of the Explorer, was listed in critical condition Sunday with head injuries. Campbell, who has a cult following among horror film buffs, was treated and released from a local hospital. Sellars was cited by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department for driving under the influence of intoxicants, assault, failing to maintain lane of travel, driving while suspended and for outstanding traffic tickets." < Source Bloody Disgusting .com

The UK Evil Dead 4 disc box set is now available to buy (I have it in my hand). I will review it soon, plus a review
of the soundtrack CD to the excellent FLESHROT graphic novel (yes that's right, a soundtrack to a comicbook) .

19 JULY 2003: EVIL DEAD :THE MUSICAL!

Opening in Toronto on August 14th and running until the 23rd, Evil Dead 1&2: The Musical. Combining the best elements of the first two movies with some amazing original songs, a stellar script and a gore-fest of special effects, this fully authorized production promises to me a must-see spectacle.
This show has Bruce Campbell's blessing, and several members of the Renaissance Production team said that they would be planning on attending!
And if that isn't enough to get you salivating...how about a full bar right inside the theatre??!!

Evil Dead 1&2: The Musical will run at the Tranzac Club, right in the heart of the Annex district of downtown Toronto.
