OPENING HOURS
Open 13 Hours a day, 7 days a week with the exception of certain days aroiund Christmas period. There are 8 rinks - 40 yds x 15 ft 9 inches.
Normally the doors open at 10.00am with rink play commencing at 10.30.
The rink sessions are based on 2 hours play, although intending bowlers may book for 1 hour if this is preferable. The booking times are therfore :
10.30am,12.30pm,2.30pm,4.30pm,6.30pm and 8.30pm.
Closing time varies dependent on usage, but the bar and rinks only remain open after 9.30pm if sufficient players are present.
CHARGES
Rink Play:
£2.20 For a 2 hour session.
£1.10 For a 1 hour session.
Between April and August, holders of a Blackpool Resident's Discount Card have the above
rates discounted by a 1/3rd. The amounts payable by these persons are therefore:
£1.48 For a 2 hour session.
£0.74 For a 1 hour session.
Day Membership:
£0.50 Non members of Blackpool Borough Indoor Bowling Club must pay this fee
each time they wish to play bowls.
Bowls hire
£0.30 If you wish to hire a set of bowls,this fee is also payable.
Shoe Hire:
£0.20 Special bowling shoes must be worn AT ALL TIMES on our rinks. If you do't
have your own pair these can be provided in all normal sizes.
Club Membership:
(All figures are for a period of 1 year from the date of joining)
