HISTORY

It was in 1985 that the Partington Family decided to turn a building which had been the winter quarters of the Blackpool Tower Circus into an indoor Bowling Centre. The circus ring and the stalls for the animals formed the basis of the new centre which was opened in October 1985 and contained five rinks. A coffee shop and bar were facilities open to both the bowlers and the visitors who stayed on the Holiday Complex.

A seven rink outdoor green was the next project completed and then in 1995 work started on the building of additional rinks to extend the indoor Centre to seven rinks. This was completed in 1996.
