Civil Aircraft As above, weekends only when airfield is open for military movements.  Civil Aircraft 24hrs Prior Permission Required via Op's ext 4233.  Single engined aircraft only accepted in exceptional circumstances. Civil movements currently restricted to 28 per day.  Movements entering or leaving the airways system are restricted to six inbounds and six outbounds per hour and military movements take priority within these restrictions

Landing and Parking fees 1997

Government figures show that in the 1997-98 fiscal year, civil use at Northolt generated £948,000, a more than 20% increase on the previous year.

These statistics are based on 1997 figures and are meant as a guide only.
Up to date information can be obtained from the MOD.

Combined landing and navigation fees

Standard Period: 1700-0959 hours
All weights MTWA, £27.22 per tonne or part thereof.
75% surcharge is applied Mon-Fri 2001-0759 and at all times Sat & Sun.

Reduced Period: 1000-1659 hrs
All weights MTWA, £16.38 per tonne or part thereof.
Note: Minimum Landing Charge, including Navigation Fee is £77.00.

Non-Powered Aircraft (Gliders, Balloons, Microlights & Airships)
Landing fees: £5.43 per day or £54.30 per annum.

Parking fees
- First hour free
The charge is then comprised of two elements:
a) Charge per hour or part thereof - £4.36
b) Charge per tonne or part thereof, per hour or part thereof - £0.22

An insurance fee of £8.50 per landing may also be charged under certain circumstances.
