    Who we work for

    We work for the not for profit sector (charities, social enterprises, multi agency partnerships, public bodies and community and self help groups).
    We are based in West Yorkshire, but undertake work throughout England.

    Who we are

    Lee ComerLee Comer

    Lee Comer has been working for fifteen years as an independent trainer, offering a wide range of short courses for statutory and voluntary organisations.

    She is the co-author of The Minute Taker’s Handbook, published by the Directory of Social Change at £9.95.

    From 2004, she is reducing the number of courses she offers, but will continue to train her popular one day Minute Taking Skills course.

    Richard Peters Richard Peters

    Richard Peters has been a trainer for Citizens Advice for more than twenty years. He has a great depth of experience of:

    • identifying competences for specific jobs
    • developing learning strategies
    • designing short courses
    • writing distance learning materials

    For many years, he has taught courses for the Directory of Social Change, local course providers and many individual voluntary sector agencies.



    Eileen CannEileen Cann

    Eileen Cann has a background in both statutory and voluntary sectors. She has worked in local Councils at a strategic and policy level and has experience of managing staff. She has supported the organisational development of a huge range of voluntary organisations from the smallest community groups to large voluntary organisations.

    Since becoming freelance in April 2002, she has worked for a number of statutory and voluntary organisations, multi-agency partnerships and steering groups providing independent research, reviews and evaluations of projects and helping staff and committees with organisational development. She also provides facilitation for partnerships and committees.
