| LMC&CC was founded in 1945 and is one of the few
joint car and motorcycle clubs still in existence. It has a membership of over 100 active
members, organizing road and stage rallies as well as motorcycle trials events. More
information on the motorcycle side of the club can be found at their
website.
The car side of the Club has members competing at all levels of the sport, including current holders of British, French and Belgian National Championships. The club's stage rally championship is hotly contested. There is strong support for the club's own 12-car championship of six events on Wednesday evenings over the winter. These are about 60 miles in length and there is a trophy to each winner as well as the championship award.
