| 24 December: No Goose on the Windsor Park Menu |
| There'll be no Goose on offer at Windsor over the festive period following the decision to allow goalkeeper Robert Robinson to leave the club with immediate effect. The player had been on the transfer list for a while and was due to be out of contract at the end of the season. |
| 9 December: Site Updates |
| Well, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later and now finally the time is here. I'm going home. Although I'm remaining in London until just before Christmas, most of my belongings are being shipped back to Belfast this week, the computer being one of them. So until I get back to Belfast, the site will remain un-updated. |
 |
| In the meantime, have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. |
| 9 December: Coleraine Game in Doubt |
| Saturday's league game at Coleraine is in danger of being called off as the home side cannot obtain insurance to allow the game to go ahead. Until the club find themselves a new underwriter they cannot play any home games and they hope o be able to make an announcement either way, on Wednesday. |

| 4 December: "We will turn it around" |
David Jeffrey says Linfield will turn things around. Davy was speaking following the disappointment of defeat in last night's CIS Cup Final:
|
| "It is tough for us at the moment but you can react in two ways. One is to crawl into your shell and walk away from it. That's not my style. The other is to be positive, keep working and get it right. That's what we are going to do. With myself and the players we have at the club I firmly believe that Linfield will be up there again soon. At the end of the match last night my players stood in the lashing rain, applauded Glentoran and left the pitch with their heads held high. And this after putting in total commitment for 90 minutes. We have won a lot in recent years and the boys have been used to success. They certainly kept their dignity in defeat and their commitment was excellent. We will turn it around - I've no doubt about that." |

He now joins a growing list of injured players at Windsor, amongst them; Darren Murphy, Russell Kelly, Justin McBride, Garth Scates, Jamie Marks and Andy Hunter. Lee Feeney however is expected to be back in contention for a place in the squad for tomorrow's game away to Ards. |

| 25 November: Improve or Else... |
"The level of this performance was grim and totally unacceptable. I'm hurt, sore and embarrassed. We didn't even get a shot on goal and the irony of it all is that Glenavon scored our goal. We were fortunate to get a point. I've always said goals win matches, winning matches wins trophies, winning trophies wins contracts and if you don't get contracts you'll not be here."

| 17 November: Boss Under Pressure |
According to media reports some fans were yesterday calling for manager David Jeffrey to resign, but the big man himself isn't prepared to throw in the towel. Asked about the calls for him to go, Davy said:
|
| "That's water off a duck's back. The season is still young and there are still plenty of big matches to come. I will never walk out on Linfield - I will have to be be pushed." |

| 2 November: And They Call Linfield Lucky... |
So after escaping punishment last season with the Andy Smith suspension saga the Glens have done it again and been handed back their 12 points from the Andy Kilmartin registration saga. In spite of breaking IFA rules and admitting it, the Glens have been reinstated as leaders of the Premier League and got their place back in the CIS Cup:
|
"It was not a matter of filling in the wrong form. It was just a matter of knowing which umbrella to put him under and we seem to have backed a loser on this one. It is just a genuine mistake." - John Parkinson, 19 September
|
"We felt we didn't do anything deliberately wrong...There may well have been a mistake made with the registration but I think a lot of people could hold their hands up." - Roy Coyle, 1 November
|
| I'll update the table whenever I've worked out who loses what points etc etc |
