I would imagine players discuss what the various journalists have written about them. Now with there being so many websites dedicated to each club and with so many players having internet access, do the players now talk about what the fans are saying about them as well ie: "did you see what so-and-so is saying about you on their site":
Most of the players do read the sites and yes they do discuss what the fans have to say, and at the end of the day it is the same fans who help to pay their wages so they are entitled to their opinion. The players take on board what as been said and try to do something about it so it wont happen in the future and anyway we are all in this together no matter if you are a fan, player, board member, backroom staff, because we all want the same thing and that is for LINFIELD FOOTBALL CLUB to be the best club in the Irish League and to go and win that 3rd title and any other cup there is.

I’ve seen some Irish League players at the Belfast Giants ice hockey games, have you been to any games and if so what did you think:
Yes i have seen some Belfast Giants games and they were great fun.
|
Do you see the success of ice hockey as a threat to the future of the Irish League:
No I dont see it as a threat I see it as something we can all learn from by trying to take some of their ideas which have worked eg: allow Irish League Clubs to play on a Thur /Fri/Sat and maybe even a Sunday. I think this is the only way forward to try and attract more people to the game.

If reports were true, the Blues had been trying to sign you for quite some time. Did you ever start to think the move to Windsor would never happen
I thought the move might not happen because when I was last approched by the Blues 3 years ago I turned them down to stay with Glenavon. When David give me the 2nd chance to come I jumped at it this time because there is no better place to be than Linfield as they are the biggest and the best club. I am so happy now to be a Linfield player and my main aim is to win the League Championship it is the only medal I need to complete the full set and it would give me even greater plesure if I could do it the first time of asking, which would mean that Linfield would make it 3 in a row.
