Family

This will hold the front page for the family stuff. Not of much interest to others, but everyone is welcome to explore and admire!
The site will range over family names including
Shapiro   Gorrell    Johnson    Saba    Margolis    Rubinstein   Van Eeden  
but if you are searching for someone famous it's unlikely you'll find them here.
If I can fathom the technicalities, I may insert some of my results from trials with family tree programs.


 

The Other Jubilee of 2002

Here are some pictures arising from Lillian reaching the half-century.
Although my pics are nothing special individually, we had a great day with good friends in delightful late-summer weather and so the mass of pics pleases me, and I hope it brings a smile both to those who were there and those who weren't. Apologies to those not pictured!  And thanks to Bill and Bob for their additions.  Anyone care to send more?

We start with the official birthday portrait, a work in progress. Lillian and I spent the real birthday at Tate Modern, even taking time off from eating and drinking to look at some Barnet Newman zips:
