Jasra sets the task for finding and eliminating the production of the nirvana elixir, which is a threat to the security of Brand’s regime.

Morvana arrives from shadow Argent along with Emily and Yang.

Princess Siobhan, a recent captive, is questioned. she attempts to strangle Lord Sarael.

Lord Paris organises a meeting at the Lucienne & Swan.

Lady Caitriona visits her father’s grave.

Lord Hector disappears.

Siobhan’s Execution 27th Feb 2001

[You can read the full account here]. Though someone that looks like Siobhan met her death, the real princess seems to have escaped...

Brand has his Seneschal executed and his queen imprisoned.

...then holds a banquet. He appoints Lucien as his new Seneschal and Prefect Aelric as his Castellan. Lady Morvana is created Duchess Stormmount and her servant Yang is formally recognised as a princess - Brand’s daughter.

An explosion is heard, which results in the premature ending of the banquet, at which Brand and Morvana were seen in a clinch. The culprit turns out to be Dara, who is moved to the dungeons. Lucien and Flora are badly hurt in the scuffle.

Brand vanishes...

Fiona’s regency is announced at breakfast the next morning. The king cannot be contacted. Merlin arrives and is introduced by the new regent to the other Citadel residents, including Merlin’s half-sister Morvana. Caitriona leaves in search of Rinaldo, her lost love.
