Folk at the Festival, 2008 St Albans Arts Festival
will run from June 20 to July 6 and the 'Folk
at the Festival' weekend will take place from June 27-29 2008. It will
include a concert featuring
Zoox
at Redbourn Village Hall on Friday
June 27, a procession and day of dance followed by a ceilidh with
Nick
Walden and the
Committee Band on Saturday June 28 and a day
of workshops with Steph West
and others on Sunday June 29, followed
by a concert featuring the New Rope String Band, at the Maltings
Arts Theatre .
Other folk music and dance events will take place
during the festival period. St
