This site is
about Ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery. It is directed at all doctors, in
training and practice, who are working in the speciality of medical and
surgical Ophthalmology and Ophthalmology-related subjects.
Ophthalmology
is a very rapidly developing speciality. I have, therefore, written and
programmed this Electronic Computerised Ophthalmology book that I intend to
expand and update, continuously, to keep up with the rapid developments in
Ophthalmology and ophthalmic literature.
I have used the Acrobat program to write and program the book. You need to have Acrobat-reader program to be able to read and view the book on line, you can download it now, freely, from http://www.adobe.com
A New
Chapter has been added to the book. The chapter deals with the ophthalmic
features, differential diagnosis, and first line management of the most common
ophthalmic problems. It is aimed at GP's, optometrists and all
non-ophthalmologists who deal with eye problems. This chapter has been added in
response to many requests I received from GP's and optometrists.
