| In some of re-cuts
of the movie, a brief scene is re-instated where the Estate-Agent Geehan shows Graham around the Jacobi's house. Following on from this scene is were Graham checks out the back-yard and climbs the tree. We then cut to the squad cars arriving outside the Jacobi house. Between those scenes was a brief scene were Geehan almost manages to sell the Jacobi house. It is in the script and the actors in the roles are in the end credits. The young woman housebuyer is played by Garcelle Beauvais, her husband by Ken Colquitt who describes the scene here: |

| "Yes,
I remember the scene vividly, and was very disappointed that it was cut
from the final film. However when I realized that Michael Talbott, Michael Mann's friend and co-star of Miami Vice was also cut in that scene I didn't take it so personally. Michael played a real estate agent who was trying to sell the mansion that had the murdered the family in. Garcelle and I were a young well-off married couple that were quite excited about buying the home. Right when Talbott is happy about finally unloading this home with such a horrid history, Petersen shows up with an army of police cars to re-investigate some things in the home, scaring us off as buyers." |
