Sketches
The Portsmouth University Drama Society put on a couple of revues for which most of the following sketches were used.
Hah! Just remembered, the first revue we did was going to be called The Big Dick and Cox Revue named after myself and my co-host Paul Dickins. We weren't allowed because the sabbaticals thought that people might come along expecting to see big dicks and cocks!!! (Well, they would've but that's beside the point)
The 2nd one was all set up with a big band and stuff but had to get cancelled cos of lack of performer interest.
Aunty Annie - A Yorkshire agony aunt who would read out letters from the audience.
Adrian's Stuff - a couple of bits from Adrian Maclean.
Beer Talk - A bit ripped off from Smith & Jones's Head to Heads but placed in a pub with the protagonists at various stages of inebriation.
Cocko the Dextrous Clown - created by Paul Dickins and adapted by both of us.
Countdown - HA HA HA HA HA. This one is probably my favourite.
Harry Deadloss - I created this guy from an idea that came from SNL. He first featured in Sinderella 2 then again in Christmas Murder Mystery.
The Last Supper - it is what it says on the label.
Pulped Fiction - a parody of Pulp Fiction (duh). Part of this was used in Natural Born Cinders.
Reservoir Nobs - (duh). Was taken from Christmas Murder Mystery and features Harry Deadloss.
Star Trek - this actually followed the set piece written for A Christmas Carol: The Director's Cut.
Restar Deks - starting to get a bit ambitious with the first of Star Trek/Reservoir Dogs amalgamations. These were never performed. Also features Harry Deadloss again.
Restrek - the 2nd amalgamation which follows directly from the first.
Voice Overs - some various fillers that were to be used during scene changes.
Paul's Stuff - sketches written by Paul Dickins who co-wrote A Christmas Carol with me and the Big Dick & Cox Revue stuff.
Stu's Stuff - sketches written by Stuart Mackenzie who took over the comedy mantle when I left. He did the next panto and another review. I don't care what everyone else says, he makes me laugh.
