Over the years I have become more and more interested in writing.
This started way back in 1987 when a few friends gathered around and we conceived our own 'band'.
We were challenged in many aspects of our performing abilities* but most of our work was original, funny and fun to do.
It kept us off the streets as well.

Then I got writing a few assemblies for school and then in 1988 I wrote the school Christmas pantomime; The Weirdos of Oz.
This went down very well and bolstered my ego to no-end.

A few more songs and then came University.
In my second year I wrote the Uni Panto 'Sinderella II'.
Next year I collaborated with a friend and we wrote a series of skits and sketches for a Uni Revue.
It was here that I had my first taste of performing a stand-up set. We then did that year's Panto - A Christmas Carol: The Director's Cut.
Next year another Revue which was cancelled but a Panto again - A Christmas Murder Mystery.
During my last two years of Uni I completed the first part (of three) of 'Soul Triangle'.
This was my first attempt at a novel and needs a lot of cleaning up. And finishing of course.
Also, started was Blood Lust. This series is my current project; two 'chapters' of which have been completed.

After graduating I wrote another Panto for those I left behind - Natural Born Cinders.
An exceptional piece of art which was never used.
Their loss.

I also took my stand-up routine on to the streets of London. Melanie and I performed a little set under the name of The Soap Boys which went down very well and (who knows) we may pick it up again at another time.
The stand-up was a big mistake. Although I did have a couple of good gigs it was very hard and a swamped market of mediocre performers who go for the easy laughs.

Blood Lust was published in 2002 and unpublished in 2004. The sequel is finished and I am about a third into part three (more info on the ENTIRE SERIES).

In 2003 I had a crack at Nanowrimo which is a self-motivating writing contest. I completed 50,000 words of Aftermath for that and completed it by the end of 2004. For 2004's Nano I cracked on with Revelations (the third part of Blood Lust).

In April 2004 I started writing articles and reviews for Funny.co.uk.

I have a couple of published 'articles' HERE.
Here's the list of my other work.
And here's The Sons of Yellowbeard.

WARNING!
I would put this stuff down as an 18 certificate. It is not for the eyes of the innocent.

Maybe I'll get a few more hits now!

*We were rubbish.
