530 Ruin
The ground plan of a ruin is shown to scale, down to the minimum size of 0.8 x 0.8mm. Very small ruins may be drawn with a solid line.
Colour: black.
Line width 0.16mm
As ISOM 2000 but line width was 0.175mm
ISOM number changed from 531 to 530.
Defined as point symbol 530.1, can be drawn with any drawing tool.
The small ruin 530.1 is a rotatable symbol, it can be rotated with the direction tool and will rotate with the map if the “include symbols” box is checked when the map is turned.
Care when drawing is needed, a click will place the symbol; a click with drag will rotate the symbol in the direction of the drag. To correct this, redraw carefully. Don Scarrott has written a utility that straightens all rotated symbols.
