Welcome to my Web Site!

I have always had a fascination with the elements of earth, air, fire and water.

I guess this is what has led me to become a creative blacksmith

putting me in close daily touch with these 'elementals' for over a decade.

Below are some pictures of my work, and of me working with my friends

and associates in different settings, both past and present.

I accept commissions for a wide variety of blacksmithing work, from functional to artistic.
You have seen some examples pictured above.

I make and adapt and repair stoves of most descriptions.
I make high quality wood working tools,
especially for fine wood carving and special turning requirements.
I have made replicas of medieval armour, arrow heads, spears etc, etc,
and a wide range of other fascinating artefacts.

I like to think of myself as a specialist one-off craftsman blacksmith, with wide-ranging skills.

Because I live right on the C2C (Coast to Coast) cycling route I am well placed
to help repair cycles of most types, should you need help.
I have been a keen cyclist myself for over 35 years,
and I am well used to coping with emergency bike repairs!

Please phone me on
01434 382194
at Nenthead in Cumbria,

or e-mail me on markfearn@lineone.net

to discuss your blacksmithing or perhaps your bike-repair requirements.

You may also meet me demonstrating at one of several country shows held in the
North of England throughout the year.

I look forward to meeting you.

You are visitor number

to my site since 29th August 2000. Thankyou for calling!

(My web page is still under development, so please add me to your 'favourites' and return
before long to see the extensions and improvements I'm looking forward to implementing.)
