Aloe eclonis, arbhorescens and plicatilis

The eclonis flowers in summer and sometimes sets seed. It's rosettes die back only to be quickly renewed in summer when it flowers. The arbhorescens has the annoying habit of flowering in late December when the cold damages them. In the background plicatilis which has shelter from the wall. There is no need to cover eclonis with fleece as it is tougher.

I also grow A. polyphylla. A .greatheadii, A. fosteri, A. aristata, A. pratensis. A. humilis on the raised bed area.
