Clive Williamson
. Clive was born in London and studied at York University. Due to the encouragement of his piano teachers - Donna Stoering, Paul Roberts and Steve Pruslin - and of Alan Hacker, he went to the Royal Academy of Music in London, where his study with Ruth Harte was supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. |

In 1983 he made his London solo debut in the Purcell Room, in the Young Artists and Twentieth Century Music series run by the Park Lane Group. Since then he has played as soloist at the Barbican, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, St John's Smith Square, and many other venues throughout the country and in Europe. He has appeared on BBC2 (Music in Camera) and Channel 4 (Scipio's Dream). He also records regularly for BBC Radio Three, and has also recorded for West German Radio, Netherlands Radio and on the Col Legno, Wergo and Hyperion labels.
