It took the Gunners 45 minutes to get the first goal with a toe ended shot from Reyes going underneath Ambrosio and into the net. Ranieri's side thought back though in the second half and deserved to win the match. A rare strike from Makelele forced Lehmann into a save which Lampard pounced onto to tap into the net. | Monaco 3-1 Real Madrid (5-5 Monaco go through on away goals) | Monaco did the seemingly impossible by beating Real Madrid after going 5-2 down on aggerate.
