Henry give the home side the lead on 50 minutes with a stunning 30 yard strike but the points where shared after Van Nistelrooy flicked the ball on for Saha home finished with just minutes remaining.

Liverpool had the better of a scrappy game at the Walkers Stadium. The Reds missed several chances with Gerrard, Hamann and Murphy all going close. Leicester probably had the best chance of the match though right at the death but Izzet shot wide from close range.

Bolton avoided their 5th defeat by beating champions league chasing Newcastle at The Reebok Stadium.A deft lob by Henrik Pedersen in the 4th minute turned out to be the match winner despite Necastle's pressure.

Struggling Leeds started off brightly but were pegged back to suffer another defeat to leave them reeling near the wrong end of the table. Mark Viduka give Leeds the perfect start with a goal 3 minutes in but Bryan Hughes grabbed a goal 9 minutes later to level the score at half time. The second half was dominated by the Blues though with Hughes grabbing another a Forssell also grabiing a brace with a goal on 69 and a converted penalty on 82.

Blackburn 1-2 Portsmouth

Pompey eased their relagation fears with a 2-1 win at Ewood Park. Sheringham gave the visitors the lead with a 20 yard free kick but Tugay levelled things up just before the break. Nigerian Yakubu was too be the hero once again though with a goal with only 8 minutes remaining on the clock.

Charlton's champions league ambitions were once again dashed with their second succesive defeat. The home side though did take the lead through on loan striker Carlton Cole just 8 minutes in. Villa themselves looking for a european spot won the match with goals either side of half time from Vassell and Samuel.

Chelsea 5-2 Wolves

Battling Wolves held Chelsea until the 77th minute but were denied thanks to a late show from Hasselbaink. Melchiot put the home side in front just 4 minutes in but Camara levelled, 1-1 at the break. In the second half Wolves took the lead, Jody Craddock getting a rare goal setting up a potential upset. With 20 minutes left though Chelsea were rampant, a goal from Lampard on 70 levelled the scores and a hat trick from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink inside the last 13 minutes give the Blues all three points.

A vital 3 points for Everton were denied as Boro claimed a late equaliser at Goodison Park. The crowd had to be patient for goals with Thomas Radzinski putting the home side in front with only 12 minutes left, but Job stole a vital point for the visitors on 83.
