Also, please do not leave just because the images are taking a while to load up. I've got the file sizes as small as I can and as far as I know, they don't take that long to load any way. Besides, by the time you read all this, you could have loaded the page three or four times!
I've known Geet-Ah since I was 8 or 9 but I can't remember because it wasn't
that important to me (waits for crowd to boo at him) and he's been a
continual source of annoyance to me. He has, however been a great source of
inspiration. No-one has driven me to sarcasm more than him! (If you know me
at all, you'll know what I mean and you can probably get a good idea if you
read other sections of this webpage).
Since then he has drawn many more pictures, some of which are show on this
page. I will always have more on the way until he finally realises that
apart from a few people seeing his pictures, he's getting nothing out of
this apart from an aching hand from drawing too much.
And now for a few words from Geet-Ah himself...
As you can see here we have the final three illustrations from the
dino-doodle collection, the first one being a typical caveman dinner scene
as shown above.
This is also Geet-Ah's first picture on this page with his trademark
signature at the bottom (Apart from Elvisaurus but thats on a page of it's
own). This signature doesn't actually say Geet-Ah, it's actually his real
name but I'm not going to tell you what that is. If you want to know what it
is, you're going to have to get good eyesight and work it out for yourself.
There are actually two people on the net who know Geet-Ah's real name (well,
three if you include me) but one of them is really new to the net and you
wont know him and the other...well, I'm not telling you who that is either
but then again, I bet no-one out there actually gives a damn.
In this first picture we thought we had better describe some of her
qualities before you get to see the cruel pictures of her (What do you mean
'This is cruel'? You ain't seen nothing yet!). When, I say cruel, it's
not really that bad of me to say that. We're being quite fair to her
considering what she's actually like in real life and we never did anything
to her that is depicted in these images (no matter how much we wanted to).
Okay, as you may have guessed, she does not actually have a cat on her head
in real life, especially a dead one (although, if she was having a make
over, this would be the first of many improvements). We just couldn't
accurately portray her hair on a picture so we created an artistic simile.
Her hair actually reminded us all of someone who'd spent the best part of
her life with her fingers jammed in an electrical socket, hence the name
Mop-Head. I can't actually remember her real name now as no-one at High
School ever actually used it.
We actually tried to communicate our idea to the British Intelligence (yes,
they do exist) but the letter and diagnostic illustration never actually
left our possession. Neither of us could be bothered going down to the post
office and buying a stamp.
Paul is another friend who is an exceptional artist (compared to the
artistic talents of most of my friends, Geet-Ah and Paul are Picasso
rivals). Paul's artwork will soon be appearing on my website as he has
quite a few good drawings of Garfield, my favourite cartoon cat.
Added 25th June 1998
As you can see here in this first picture, the Toxic Mop (another name we
had for her in High School) is sitting at home (yes, in Hell). This is a new
drawing idea from Geet, that was never drawn in High school as is the next
image.
As well as the forthcoming MIB picture, I think there may also be one where
Mop-Head is being cast out of Hell, which is kind of contradictory of the
picture just above but it's not like we're running a soap opera here. We're
allowed to make mistakes, even if we do it on purpose. This image was
originally drawn by me in my German book but I could never portray Mop-Head
quite as accurately as Geet-Ah so I'll leave it up to him.
Just to clear up any possible confusions about this picture (and to make it
look like there is actually more text on this page than big pictures), the
pet care people are talking about Mop-Head and not just the poor cat on her
head.
Any way, that's the last of the Mop-Head series. Hope you've enjoyed them
and if you have, remember this: A little feedback never hurt anybody
(although, I wouldn't know because I never get any).
The Dino-Doodle Series
The first thing I should tell you about Geet-Ah is that this, quite
obviously, isn't his real name. He just wanted artistic anonymity and as he
couldn't think of a name, he's getting stuck with the one I'm giving him!
The source of inspiration of these drawings for Geet-Ah was originally our
German lessons back in High School between 14 and 16. We had nothing else
better to do (it came down to sleeping or...err...German) so he started to
draw various pictures. The first dino he created was his masterpiece,
Elvisaurus. Click here to see a picture of him.
Hello people! I can't say much more about myself than Matt has already said.
He was a great source of my inspiration for my artwork as the forthcoming
Mop-Head series will demonstrate! She was a mutant friend, err...
acquaintance who was a source of R.S.P.C.A attention (As the terminally
inconvenienced feline on her cranium demonstrates). There isn't much more
I can say sooooo...bye! Page Update!
Yes, the page has finally been updated as I've got a few more pics from
Geet-Ah. I've actually had these pictures scanned in for ages now, just not
bothered adding them to the page because I'm so damn lazy. The excuse I'll
use is that after scanning in, the images needed a fair bit of cleaning up
before posting on the site. This isn't the actually reason but it sounds a
lot better than blaming it all on my apathy (well, it does to me)
Of the three new additions to this page, this is easily my favourite, not
only because it is a good drawing and rather funny but it is also a rather
small image and doesn't take up a lot of my remaining web space (which is
rapidly diminishing).
Well, here it is. The final dino-doodle you're going to see. If you see one
somewhere else, it's not a Geet-Ah original (unless, of course, someone
pinches the picture from this page or he betrays me and gives his artwork
to someone else on the net without telling me).
The Mop-Head Series
Added 21st June 1998
Okay, if you've visited this page between 4:00pm and 8:00pm on 21st July
then you may have seen something about the forthcoming Mop-Head series,
arriving on the 28th of June. Well, Geet-Ah has produced a few early images
so you're not going to have to wait to see them, here they are!
Now in one of our German lessons once (one of the more boring ones), me and
Geet-Ah decided that the people fighting Saddam couldn't come up with a
solution to the Gulf War as good as the one we thought of. The strength of
the Patriot missile, combined with the reeking evil of Mop-Head (reeking
evil...I like that) could quite easily overcome the forces of Iraq and
finish the war in one fell swoop.
When Geet-Ah came to my house last (about five minutes before I started
writing this) he only arrived with two drawings but as I was scanning in
the images, cleaning them up and updating the page with the new stuff, he
drew this picture with help from Paul, the guy who drew my picture that is
now displayed on my main page.
Aparently Geet-Ah got a bit bored at work yesterday so he decided to carry
on the Mop-Head series. As well as these two new drawings, he also showed
me a design sketch for a new drawing featuring the Men In Black (not giving
too much away am I?). Any way, I have no idea when this will be ready but
I'm hoping it should be here by Sunday 28th. If not then...tough, you've had
a load recently any way.
I'm not quite sure what the inspiration behind this drawing is. Well, I know
exactly WHAT it is, I just don't know why it's been associated with Mop-Head
as Maralyn Monroe was a beautiful and famous actress while Mop-Head was (and
still is) a girl with what resembles tumbleweed on her head. Another Update
I've actually been meaning to update this page for a while now (no really).
Put it this way, Geet drew these next few pictures back in August and I've
just been to lazy to do anything about it since (and if that's of offence to
anyone out there, I really am sorry....okay, I'll work on it a bit more).
This is the picture I mentioned above (the one that I originally thought of)
and this portrayal of the idea is nothing like I imagined it (and for all of
you out there wondering...it's a lot better). My picture idea was just
Mop-Head looking downtrodden as Satan has just told her that she's not worthy
of staying in Hell. I realise you didn't need to know that but again, I'm
just trying to fill space.
This is easily my favourite of the new additions although I do think Geet has
made Tommy Lee Jones look more like Clint Eastwood and if I wanted to drag
the point out a bit more, I could go on to say that Will Smith kind of looks
like MC Hammer. Geet also admitted these points after he drew it (of course,
he needed me to point it out but saw it instantly once I did). This Just In!!
