I was born on Monday 16th October 1978 (at 7:50pm to be precise and I think
I weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces) - they tell me it was raining that day.
I've come a long way since then (or at least I like to think so).As you can see in this really old picture of me (why did I even put it here?), I've always had the same view of life. Eat, sleep and look dumb for the camera and whats better is that I'm a natural at all three of them.
I'm going to skip what happened next and just go through my interests (lucky you). When I'm not on my computer, which doesn't happen very often, I will probably be found either sleeping, trying to play the guitar or dead on the side of the road somewhere (basically the only three things that have the capability to prise me away).
I used to have a social life. I had friends and we went out every night but
now I'm on the internet I can't contact them because there are only about
two of them on e-mail. I have also forgotten their real names in favour of
their nicknames - I think I need psychiatric help.
I started playing the guitar in...err...(straining my memory here)...about June 1996 (I think) and everyone tells me that I'm quite good but I don't believe them. I am currently in a Band called West Tangleyam with two other guitarists (it works...just), a keyboard player and a bassist. Now we're only short of a drummer! For more information, click here.
Here is a picture of my old electric guitar (except it's purple now). Any
one can take a picture and stick it on the net so I thought I'd be different
and do this to it. I've always wondered what a guitar would look like
while wearing a cap, shades, gloves and shoes while carrying a set of keys,
a kiwi fruit and smoking a cigarette (well, I haven't. I was just bored).
I have no single favourite band. I like older music like The Monkees, Beatles, Kinks etc... and I also really like this band called Gentleman Soldier - a folk band but you would have to ask my Dad/Norm/Tim about them as he knows them better than I do (or you could look at my Gentleman Soldier history page).
My life has little or no direction (always been like that, always will be)
so I consider myself a typical teenager (It is said that typical teenagers
have messy rooms - ask my mum). Unfortunately I recently turned twenty so I
can't really use that excuse any more and I'm going to have to come up with
something else. If anyone out there can think of anything then
mail me with your suggestions and hurry!
Well, I feel I've already shared too much about myself so I'm going to stop before I depress myself. If you want to know any more about me then (you're suicidal) e-mail me and ask whatever you want (within reason) and I will be happy to bore you to death quicker than a drill through the head on high power.
