ScotScrabble

I was playing Scrabble regularly on the Internet until all the servers went down and have missed it so much that I decided to set up my own game.

How does it work?

I collect names of people who wish to join, and split them into groups of four, according to ability.

Each group of four plays four simultaneous three-player games.

Each member of the group plays three games and acts as scorer for the fourth. Thus player 1 plays players 2 & 3, with player 4 scoring and issuing new letters. Player 2 plays players 3 & 4, with player 1 scoring, etc.

Games are conducted by email, so there is no need for any additional software

Each player must undertake to play within a certain timescale, and players who repeatedly fail to play on time without giving prior notice to the scorer will be replaced with others from the list.

All games are conducted using the OSW or OSPD, or both.

There is no charge for membership or anything else

Your name, email address and details will not be revealed to any person or company (there's enough junk email about as it is)

How do I join?

Email me stating your name, email address, location, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced level player. You will then be matched with other similar players, and can begin playing. If you wish to be paired with new opponents of a different level simply email me and I will organise it
