To lead others into worship is a gift and an honour that we do not take lightly.
We hope from these pages to share with you some of the experience and inspiration that we have received in His presence.

Worship at MCC is an integral part of all of our services, and is also a feature of our Prayer Meetings and Youth Group Activities. The Worship Team's other current regular musical input is at 'The Mossy' our monthly outreach cafe.

Instrumentally at Mossvale we originally had worship led by the accordian or Hammond organ. These are now relegated to special occasions, and so now our band normally consists of guitars, bass, keyboards, drum & percussion, and violin. Tambourines are very rarely used anymore!

The Worship Team has a pool of many experienced and talented musicians and singers, and several up-and-coming enthusiastic teenagers, which brings diversity to the style and sound of the band week by week. And of course the Worship Team would be nothing without the aid of the sound and light engineers, and video projectionist to that everyone can see, hear and participate! An induction loop system for hearing aid users is available.

The whole Worship experience is co-ordinated by leader Peter Chalk. Incorporating Peter's own music, and the most popular contemporary worship from around the world, we are led joyfully into the presence of God.

Many of our musicians play in their own Christian bands, and are seeking to write their own songs for the glory of God. Last Man Out last year released their debut CD!
