Dr R.McGlone - Clinical Director
FRCP FFAEM FRCSE A&E
Dr.McGlone was the first A&E consultant appointed
to this department in 1990. He qualified in 1980 from the Royal
London Hospital. He was trained in general medicine before choosing
A&E as a career. His specialist training was on rotations in
Nottingham, Derby and Yorkshire before being appointed as a Consultant
in this department.
Special Interests include pain relief in children, pre-hospital
care, and information technology. He is the course director for
the ATLS course based at Westmorland General Hospital, Kendal.
