Mr I Roberts, Senior Team Leader
BSc (Hons) Nurse Practitioner, RGN

Ian qualified in 1990 within Lakeland College. He completed his BSc Health Studies Degree within St Martins College in 1999 following successful completion of the ENB 199 at the Sussex and Kent Institute in Brighton. Ian recently successfully completed the RCN Nurse Practitioner award and is enjoying consolidating his new skills within the department. Professional interests include the continued development of the Nurse Practitioner in Emergency care and Teaching.


Ms Janine Tyler
RGN

Janine qualified in 1985 at York District Hospital. She has worked in A&E over the last 18 years working at Guy’s Hospital, Orsett Hospital and Basildon Hospital. Janine joined he EMAU team in 1996. Janine has a special interest in Children’s health.

Ms Diane Graham
RGN, ENB 199, Dip Critical Care

Diane qualified in 1983 and has worked in Accident & Emergency Nursing since 1988. She took up the post of Nurse Practitioner in 1999. Diane is currently undertaking a Specialist Nursing Practitioner Degree and looks forward to starting the Nurse Practitioner Course next year. Diane has an interest in issues related to Mental Health and she has successfully established a programme of Children’s Visits to the Unit. Diane is also the Child Protection Link Nurse within the department


Mrs Cathy Bleasdale
BSc, RGN

Cathy qualified from the Lakeland College of Nursing in 1991 and worked at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary in acute medicine and A&E before securing her current position 3 years ago. Cathy is currently undertaking the Nurse Practitioner Course. She also chairs the ‘Nursing Practice Group’, which is responsible for development of nursing practice throughout the Trust.
