Záhony depot :


1520mm gauge M62 505 on a single service car - our tour for the next couple of hours over part of the Hungarian broad-gauge network.

Eperjeske Rendezö (end of yard) :

Back to standard gauge, M62 273 on our main tour stock.

Time for another trackside photo-stop.

Run-round and waiting time for a service train to come off the single line.

Photo-stop en-route towards Debrecen.

Biogal (freight branch in Debrecen suburbs) :

We left our train here for a bus to the Szuszi narrow-gauge railway in Debrecen.

Our evening meal takes shape!

Half way point of the line, but the last real photo opportunity as it was nearly dark by this time.

After our very nice meal there was time for a run to the lines depot where Mk48 2006 & Mk48 2002 were viewed.

Debrecen :

We made it back from the suburbs to the main station using M44 415.
