The Way of the Warrior
Mercia Charters first multi-day railtour outside of the UK involved a trek half way across Europe to the Central European country of Hungary. For the band of 20 or so enthusiasts it was to prove to be a quite unforgettable experience, as much off the train as on. Making our own way to Hungary, we all met at our booked hotel in Budapest on the Thursday evening for a welcome meal and introductions. From there on in the trip was "all inclusive" (including some of the alcohol!!) so everyone could simply sit back and enjoy the experiences this country had to offer.
