Peformances in the Village Hall on Thursday 18th, Friday 19th and Saturday 20st November 2010.

HATS is a small and friendly local amateur theatre group, located in the small Worcestershire village of Harvington. Founded in 1985, the group normally performs one or two plays each year in the Village Hall. We always make a donation from the proceeds of our performances to a local Charity.

HATS has put on a variety of plays over the years, however Harvington audiences just want to be entertained, and that usually means comedies, 'who dunnits' or pantomimes. If it's Shakespeare you want, try up the road at Stratford upon Avon!

Performances take place in the Village Hall, which is a shared resource used by several local groups and organisations. The hall will seat an audience of up to 80 people. The hall has a relatively small stage, a back stage area and kitchen facilities for interval refreshments.

HATS is not just about putting on plays, we also have a social side. We sometimes organise play readings amongst ourselves - not for public performance. We arrange trips to see other theatrical groups - keeping an eye on the competition! And we also organise 'non theatrical' events, such as treasure hunts, quiz evenings, and of course the odd visit to a local hostelry.
