Production, performed November 1989

Pickwick

written by
Tony Hinds, loosely based on "Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens.

Produced and Directed by Jess Fairs

Musical direction by Joy Spencer

"Pickwick" (written by Tony Hinds, with music by Ian Blunsden) was specially created for Steeple Aston Players, Oxfordshire, and performed by them in 1983. It was not staged again until this production by HATS and we are grateful to Tony and Ian for their generosity in allowing us to use their work, and for decling to accept a fee.

Some changes were made inthis production, particularly in the number and content of the musical items and for this we are indebted to the talent of Joy Spencer.
