Rosie took her paintings to Wokingham Winter Carnival, an outside event that, this year, suffered from appalling rain storms. In spite of the conditions (or in respect for Rosie's courage in the face of them) the pictures attracted the attention of a totally new set of admirers.
Rosie and Michael had a successful exhibition of a number of pictures at the WTAS two-yearly show at Christies in London.
Rosie prepared a large number of pictures for her solo exhibition which was held at The Mwldan Upper Gallery, Cardigan from 29 August to 21 September 2005.
The exhibition included oil paintings, pastels and ink and wash drawings of landscapes and other features.
The Mwldan Gallery programme said ...
'Rosie's charming paintings reflect an eclectic mix of people, places and scenes from her imagination. At first glance her paintings are oddly familiar looking and seem full of uplifting memories and snapshots from life. Rosie hopes the paintings will speak for themselves.'
Rosie exhibited at the 4th Tenby Open Art competition, organised by Art Matters, Tenby. For the first time she showed some of her recent ink and wash drawings.
