George was born 26 November 1879 at 91 Grosvenor St. Dukinfield Cheshire to William Barker a Tailor and Hannah (Wilson ) Barker.
He died 25 February 1953 aged 73 at Belmont Farm Gt. Harwood Lancs. The cause of death was given as ulcers and enlarged prostrate.

Robert was a 20 year old bachelor stone mason, from Great Harwood when he married Margaret Davies a 23 year old spinster also from Great Harwood. Margarets father was called John he gave his occupation as a cotton spinner.
The marriage was witnessed by Thomas Wilson and Mary Davies.
