The Fes Tanneries
A photographers, if not a vegitarians delight, the Fes tanneries look like giant paintboxes when viewed from one of the many surrounding rooftop galleries.
Busier and faster when the sun is low, the workers unload, dry, treat and dye the skins of those unfortunate creatures who play such an active post-motem role in the town's tourism industry.
Leather bags, drums, lamps, belts, shoes....I particularly liked the mint tea glass holders at 60p each
