brighpic1.jpgThis is the a view of part of the goods yard - with the wall under construction. Just outside the wall is the tramtrack in the road. There will be a few coal staithes on the far siding.

There are four tracks over the viaduct, which splits in the middle of the layout into two-track mainline, and two-track branch.

brighpic2.jpgThe embryonic goods shed, awaiting interior, painting, and roof. I intend to add interior lighting as well, so that the interior detail can be seen.

I've used Slater's plasticard for the walls, with inset hand-scribed plastic for the window arches, and circular decoration in the end wall.

It's based on an amalgamation of several typical Brighton sheds.

brighpic3.jpgSome delicate work fixing chairs to the trackwork. This shows the goods arrival lines, and the entrances to the goods yard (on the right) and the marshalling yard (left).

The trackwork is all timber sleepered, with a mixture of riveted track, and functional plastic chairs. All the track rivets will eventually be covered over with cosmetic chairs.

brighpic4.jpgThe tram track and bridge. The station will be at a high level on the left of the picture - broadly based on the stations on the South London line, mainly at Queens Road.
