Plans for a dedicated Bike to School Week have been postponed until 2006 by the Bike Week Steering Group, for whom national co-ordinator Nick Harvey is continuing to seek new funding and commercial support. Explained Nick: "Our budget for Bike Week in June was never intended to cover the costs of new Bike to School Week in April. Postponing the launch until 20006 will give us more time to secure the necessary funding to offer resources free to all participating schools throughout the UK".
