Further to the article in April’s "On Your Bike", the Campaign has learnt that planning permission for this path was refused earlier this year, and that Sustrans appealed the decision. The appeal was allowed, though with additional conditions. The challenge remains to complete the land assembly, but this is one step nearer to a useful route. The Wye Valley people were thanked for their continuing support - especially valuable in winning planning appeals!
