Lights and bright, weatherproof clothing are essential for all evening rides.

Our evening rides continue into the Autumn with our series of Ďafter darkí rides. We still meet to set off at 6.30pm , but destinations will be a maximum of an hourís ride away from Cardiff, some a lot closer, and normally with the possiblity of a route on lit roads. Please note that some of the destinations would also be easily accessible by train, particularly those to the north where the Valley Lines will convey cycles without reservation.

Rides start from the one of the three points noted below. The distance indicated is one-way by the shortest route. We aim to leave promptly, so you may wish to arrive a few minutes before the start time Ė if you are running late, or wish to meet somewhere en route or at the destination, please phone to let me know. We will arrive at the destination by 8.00pm so that you can get a meal if you wish.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your cycle is in good working order, and that you have a means of getting home in the event of breakdown. Good front and rear lights are essential, and it is advisable to wear bright, weather-proof clothing. We would also recommend that you have membership of the CTC or other organisation that provides you with third party liability insurance.

Rides leave from: Waungron Park station, St Faganís Road if heading west (W); Llandaff station approach heading north (N); outside Roath Park Community Centre, corner of Ninian Road and Pen-y-lan Road, heading east (E). The distance indicated is one-way by the shortest route from start point.
