This year has been busy with celebrating the Corps and Band's
125year Anniversary

CAROLS FOR ALL
December 2011

Over 400 people attended the United Reformed Church for
our annual 'Carols for All' Concert.

This year we supported a charity which provides help and assistance to children who have suffered brain tumours.
We were pleased to present a cheque of £2158.57 during the evening.

We also saw the visit of the International Staff Band in October 2011.
They gave a great Concert at the Ipswich Corn Exchange on the Saturday which was attended by over 600 people.

The Band also celebrated it 125 year anniversary weekend in October, the special guests being Bandmaster Dr Kenneth & Patricia Downie.

Over 25 former band members returned for this great event.

In October we also had Harvest Celebrations led by former Commanding Officers Majors John and Sylvia Randle.
There was a flower display over the weekend, which brought in many visitors.

The Corps Anniversary weekend in February saw the production of the Musical 'Glory' which was a great success and to meet demand a second nights performance was added.
