AWARDS AND TREASURER'S REPORT

This will be my final report as I am not standing for re election as I started University in the September of 2005 and feel that I cannot give both the treasurers job and my course the attention they require.
I have enjoyed being apart of the Lancashire Branch and hope it flourishes in the future.

The year started very slowly and didn't really pick up until September when the schools and clubs started back after the summer holidays.

The Bronze Medallion format changed and seems to be running all right, albeit the price has put people off again but I suppose this is the price (forgive the pun) of progress.

We had some distressing news in late November, the death of a former Treasurer and friend, Vernon Baker he will be sadly missed. Vernon's funeral was held at Penwortham's Methodist Church on Monday 5th December and I was one of many people who represented the Branch.

I wish to convey my thanks to everyone who has helped me over the years and I hope that the new treasurer will enjoy their position on the management committee as much as I have.
