I don't know who my John Whiter’s family was, but it appears he was born in
Bethnal Green c 1866.
He married Frances Harms in 1886
BMDs
1886 Q4 Poplar 1 c 1159 John Thomas Whiter
married Frances Catherine Harms
and they came to Australia, had two children, then returned to the UK and had
another. John was a bricklayer so maybe the conditions in Queensland where they
came, were too hot for them.
If it isn't too much trouble you can send me a gedcom. I can have a look and see
if I think it is relevant.
My email address is: sfragall@iprimus.com.au
look forward to hearing from you.

Think the Marriage Certificate may be called for just to ascertain the
parentage of the couple!
