From the Vice Commodore
I Can’t believe it is nearly the end of the Sailing Season, not one of the best seasons  for weather, I must say.  The weather did buck up end of July,  and fortunately not too many races round the estuary were cancelled, and some good sailing was had with some of the great wind conditions.
We probably had one of our busiest seasons with new Sailors, and lots of people out on the water, and using the yacht club facilities.
The weather in Open Week was excellent, and we had a couple of good events, being the Bar B Q and Jazz Evening, and Friday Prize Giving Supper with Karaoke.
This brings me to say a BIG  THANK YOU to all our Volunteers in the Club Room and Kitchen, for Open Week, Cadet Weeks, and Sunday Lunch Times.
All this makes our Club a thriving and vibrant place to be.
The more members use our Club the more successful and enthusiastic we all are.
SUNDAY LUNCHTIME - The Club is open EVERY Sunday lunchtime for Drinks and Lunches.  Please come along and bring Friends and Family members. Just sign in non-members.
FRIDAY EVENING - The Club is open EVERY Friday evening from 7.30. Please come and along meet up with other members. We will be having a number of Social Evenings, and look forward to seeing you then.  We also have a Pool table, and many packs of cards.  If you would like other things (ex dominos) please let me know.
I have arranged a variety of SOCIAL EVENTS throughout the Winter Months, and would ask you all to try and support us as much as possible.
